  1. Insurance and delivery

HANNIN PARIS bears the risk of transfer of the Products until their delivery to the address indicated. Delivery of the products constitutes the moment when the risk of damage and/or loss is transferred to the Customer.

Please note that we do our best to ship all orders as quickly as possible and no later than five (5) days from the order. Estimated delivery times are given for information purposes only and begin to run from the date of the order. HANNIN PARIS cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by procedures imposed by the customs service of the country of destination.

For delivery, HANNIN PARIS uses external parties and reliable carriers. The use of external parties may impact delivery. Following an undelivered order, an investigation is immediately opened with the carrier. This usually lasts several days, during which no refund or other shipment to the Customer will be made.

HANNIN PARIS declines all responsibility if the Product is damaged during transport or if the Product is delivered with a delay caused by the carriers.

It is the Customer's responsibility to allow delivery to the address indicated, in the presence of the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer. There is reason to speak of delivery from the moment the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer takes physical possession of the Products ordered. If delivery fails due to a failure by the Customer or the third party designated by the Customer, the cost of the new delivery attempt will be entirely borne by the Customer.

  1. Right to retract

  1. General

The Customer has a right of withdrawal, in accordance with the Code of Economic Law. The right of withdrawal gives the Customer the possibility of terminating the Sales Contract within fourteen (14) days following delivery if he is not satisfied with the Product. No obligation to provide reasons or penalties are required. HANNIN PARIS nevertheless invites you to provide your comments in order to improve its services.

HANNIN PARIS does not reimburse shipping costs in the event of return of the Product.

The withdrawal notification must be sent by e-mail.

  1. Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The Customer is not authorized to exercise his right of withdrawal if the supply of goods which are manufactured are made according to the Customer's specifications or if they are clearly personalized (Article 53 of the Code of Economic Law). The Customer accepts this by placing an order.

  1. How to return a Product following exercising your right of withdrawal?

The Customer who wishes to exercise his right of withdrawal must return the Products delivered to the head office of HANNIN PARIS. Products must be returned from the original destination country.

All Products must be returned to us unused, in their original condition, in their original packaging and with all HANNIN PARIS labels still attached. Items returned damaged or soiled cannot be returned and will be returned to the Customer and/or a refund will be refused.

The Customer is responsible for any depreciation of the Products resulting from their handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Products. HANNIN PARIS is entitled to charge the Customer the costs of depreciation on a pro rata basis. This, however, only after HANNIN PARIS has reimbursed the initial purchase price to the Customer.

The Customer must return the Product by a secure means of transport to ensure that the Product arrives in good condition. We strongly recommend that you insure your shipment as you are responsible for the condition of the items and will be held responsible for any damage to the items until they arrive at our store. In the event of a dispute, we also recommend that you retain proof of postage.

  1. Legal guarantee

  1. General

Each Customer (B2C) benefits from a legal warranty period of two (2) years. The Customer may invoke the legal guarantee if the Products delivered do not correspond to the Product requested or ordered (non-conformity), to the extent that the Customer was not able to establish this non-conformity at the time of receipt of the Product.

  • If the Product is defective within the first six months following delivery, it will be presumed that the defect existed since delivery. HANNIN PARIS can prove the opposite.

  • If the Product defect is detected more than six months after delivery, the Customer must prove the non-conformity of the Product at the time of delivery.

The legal warranty is not applicable in the event of damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidental or intentional modifications made to the Product by the Customer, including improper and incorrect use.

Additional commercial guarantees are always possible in accordance with the general conditions and are always expressly communicated.

  1. Complaint mechanism

The Customer is required to check the conformity of the Products at the time of delivery. If the Product is affected by a visible defect, and the recipient notices this defect, he is required to file a complaint.

The Customer will communicate these complaints to HANNIN PARIS in writing and explicitly, unambiguously and with reasons. This must be done within three (3) calendar days following delivery to the Customer or the third party designated by the Customer. It is the Client's duty to sufficiently motivate this communication. In the absence of a (sufficiently) justified complaint, the Customer is not authorized to return the Products.

  1. How to return a product under the legal guarantee?

Each Customer is required to return the non-compliant Product to HANNIN PARIS within thirty (30) calendar days following the filing of the complaint for repair, replacement or reimbursement. Otherwise, the suspension of the legal warranty period will be considered void.

The products must be returned to HANNIN PARIS , at the Customer's expense, in their original condition, including their packaging, accessories and documentation, and always accompanied by the original invoice or valid proof of payment. Any failure to comply with this obligation will result in a proportional reduction in the reimbursement.

  1. Repair or replacement

If the aforementioned conditions are met, the Customer is primarily entitled to free repair or replacement of the ordered products, if the situation permits. Please note that we will only replace the Product with the same item of the same size, depending on available inventory. If the Product cannot be repaired or if the same Product is not available, the Customer will receive a voucher with a value equal to the amount of the initial order. The Customer always has the right to refuse the voucher and demand a full refund.

HANNIN PARIS is only required to provide a refund if the repair or replacement no longer provides the same benefit to the Customer as the initial purchase. The Customer must communicate this reason in a clear and reasoned manner. Any compensation and reimbursement may in no case exceed the amount invoiced to the Customer.

If the Products were returned when the conditions were not met, HANNIN PARIS will return them to the Customer. The costs of this shipment will be borne by the Customer. HANNIN PARIS may store the returned Products on behalf and at the risk of the Customer, as long as the return costs have not been paid.
